They see a good-looking woman and think to themselves, “he must be very successful, if he can land that hot woman!” An attractive woman not only looks good on your arm, she will give the perception that you must be something special to be able to lock her down.

Your social standing will be upped – and your social life will get a boost as a result – when your wife is beautiful. People naturally gravitate towards others who are physically attractive, and easy on the eyes, and will want to hang out with them and make plans with them. As a spouse, you, of course, will be included in the plans. With her beauty and your money and success, you’ll be the ultimate power couple.

There’s the potential for infidelity

Of course, you don’t have to be good looking to cheat. We know plenty of beautiful faithful women, and lots of unattractive women who have cheated. Looks do not determine whether someone will cheat, but rather, personality will. But being beautiful will increase someone’s chances of being hit on, and the potential of your beautiful wife finding someone else.

People will assume that she married you for your money – and that you married her for her looks

That may not be the case, of course. She very well could have married you because she loves you, money or not, and you could be attracted to her intellect and sense of humor before her body. But people will always assume otherwise. If this is the case, you have to ignore everyone around you and focus on the good fortune that you have.
